April 10th. First day. Flight to Canada to Toronto.
From Toronto on a small propeller plane to Ottawa. A little shake. The plane is almost empty. In general, airports in Canada not very busy. No comparison with London and Amsterdam.
On arrival to Toronto, the sun peeped out and we are, me and Professor Trevor Davies, flying in light clouds to Ottawa. Below an incredible number of small lakes were clearly visible through the clouds. They are frozen and looked among the silent not snow-covered hills and mountains with abstract white spotted strokes. Like a brush strokes. I saw this picture land in my dreams before the trip and painted it with melting glaciers and rivers. I need to look at what territory we flew. This is the province of Ontario. Really indescribable beauty from above. Monochrome, ocher with hues of olive and light gray-brown, this picture below was dotted with running roads with a gradual increase in sketches of snow along the edges of valleys and fields. Due to the large amount of territory, the roads are cut straight. It looks very graphical. Deciduous forests through the trees that looked through the snow looked like some incredible soft feather bed. Or rather, a strange needle-like structure, on which reasonable not to fall.
10 апреля. Первый день. Перелет в Канаду в Торонто.
Из Торонто на маленьком винтовом самолете до Оттавы. Немного трясло. Самолет практически пустой. Вообще аэропорты в Канаде как-то не сильно полны людей. Ни в какое сравнение не идут с Лондоном и Амстердамом.
При прилете в Торонто выглянуло солнце и мы летим в легких облаках до Оттавы. Сквозь облака ясно просматривалось невероятное количество небольших озер. Они были замерзшие и смотрелись среди безмолвных не заснеженных холмов и гор абстрактными белыми пятнистыми мазками. Почти так я видел эту землю в своих снах до поездки и рисовал на картинах с таящими ледниками и реками. Мне нужно посмотреть над какой территорией мы пролетали. Это провинция Онтарио. Реально неописуемая красота сверху. Монохромно-охристого с оттенками оливкого и светло-серо-коричневого эта картина внизу была испещрена пробегающими дорогами с постепенным нарастанием зарисовок снега по окраинам долин и полей. Из-за большого количества территории -дороги нарезаны прямо и очень ровно. Смотрится очень графично. Лиственные леса сквозь деревья которых просматривался снег смотрелись какой-то невероятной мягкой периной. А может скорее странной игольчатой структурой,на которую разумно ни как не хотелось упасть.

People look like voracious worms on a piece of carrion, their greed is limitless, they will soon devour the Earth, and then what will they do? Eat yourself? Under the guise of religious wars, there will be wars over fresh water and fertile land. And then people will kill each other because of a breath of clean air. Man produces tons of toxic garbage, which displaces the soil; clean air is filled with exhaust gases. The senseless production of unnecessary and low-quality things is growing, nothing is being repaired, but simply thrown away, because new and new models are being produced and we have to buy them, otherwise the social contract will be broken - factories will stop. More and more energy is needed - a huge amount of hydrocarbons are being burned, all the oil has already been sucked out of the earth, and more and more is needed. People are vampires who drink the blood of the Earth ... The climate is changing - over the past ten years, the Earth's temperatures have increased their teeth, i.e. the summer months are hotter and winters are colder. The Arctic is melting rapidly, which means that the water in the ocean heats up excessively, its level rises. What technologies can we talk about when a person can get in the ass and overnight half of the planet will die from tsunamis or earthquakes, from the hellish heat or cold snaps? Nothing will save us, and an example is poor Japan, the most high-tech country in the world is covered with the darkness of chaos ... And the Earth will do it and breathe easy without human civilization, rest for a million years and again give a chance to new intelligent beings, maybe they will be more reasonable than we are with you. Therefore, DE-civilization is the only way out of the current crisis. This is not a bitter truth, it is a ray of hope for the salvation of humanity, our children and grandchildren.

I think that it's time for artists to do the art, artists should stop digging inside their complexes, get out like a clowns, practice flat wit, “original”, express, parody and multiply design “things”. Virtually all contemporary art is design, despicablely impersonating art. And the artists have become worker in the factory of "stuff" and serving consumers. They are lack ideas and direct statements, even those artists using the rhetoric of leftist ideas hopelessly lagged behind reality.
When a tsunami happens, a communist and a bourgeois, a Muslim and a Christian, black and white, drown in the same way ... Reality knocks on our window with an icy twig of a dead tree, breathes the contaminated soil under our feet, poisoning us with rotten water. Artists should join the struggle of sane people for a clean Earth, for wildlife, for the future of humanity. I am sure that every artist has talent, he can use it to visualize the problems of society. First of all, art should now raise ontological issues, talk about the most important, and now it is human survival. And ecology is the most important issue in the modern world.
